  • Well managing organization in the business world, leadership experiences could offer better solutions or directions when employee encountering various problems. Because organization need to address current topics, create network and experience major situation etc. 
  • As a student, my leadership skills appeared when we nee to work as a team. However, leadership skills are more significant than I expected, and after we did some test during the class, it indicated that everyone have some leadership skills need to work on. 
  • In the leadership experience course that we studied last few weeks. I found two leadership goals which are inspiring and interpersonal skill want to achieve. Furthermore, my action plans will explain how will I achieve my goals, to enrich my leadership experiences.

  • In my personal leadership vision, first,  individuals in the team should involved with high education, for better contribute enough knowledge. when work as a team, an appropriate activity to lead a group to achieve goals. Second, leader should having specific plan to process the project. More important elements of represent leadership are good at working in diversity background, respect every team members, always being open minded and make correct decision when team need a direction. 
  • During the last few weeks of study, we learned new thing about the leadership, that is top five cores of leader characteristic. Honest, forward looking, competent, inspiring and intelligent. I am lack of inspiring section of my own leadership experiences,  strengthen could enrich my leadership skills.

  • My personality is conformist, This word showed up after we did a "the power of follower ship" evaluation. It is surprised me about the result, because this is who I am and almost became my entire life.
  • When I work as a team, listening and accept suggestions is my biggest characteristic. Following the procedure and do my best for group assignments is best thing I can think of; unfortunately, I have to admit that this is easiest mission for me when I need to work as a team. 
  • Before that, I just ignored inspiring my team members could also lead my team reach our goals. This is a big mistake, because good leader will not just do easiest thing.

  • Interpersonal skill is an important element for everyone. I am not put too much energy for this part.
  • When I focus on my team assignments. All I did are research, ask questions, take notes and pay attention to my part. Those helped me to directly finished my part, then submitted to team collector. 
  • During the produces of my group assignment, I barely have lots conversation with my team members and ask opinions from them. Basically, I just did what I need to do; sometimes, I forgot my team members name when I did presentation. 
  • Therefore, practice interpersonal skill is my second goal, not only in my leadership experiences but also in my life experiences. 
  • Next video gave me another very good reason for practice my interpersonal skill.

    • Be optimistic and positive
      Remaining positive will show your team that it’s not the end of the world if things are going wrong, and keep them focused on the greater picture. 
    • Rewarding group members
            For their hard work shows them that they’re appreciated and makes them feel like an integral part
            of the team.

    • Communicate with the team
      Make my team members feel comfortable coming to me for questions or opinions. Taking the time to ask for the opinions of your colleagues and listening carefully to the viewpoint of each person also shows that my respect to them.

      Working with others to resolve interpersonal conflict and disagreements in a positive way.
    • Relationship Management
      The ability to build relationships based on mutual trust and respect.

  • Leadership goals help me improve my leadership experiences in the diversity background work circumstance.
  • Action plan is what I will try my best to achieve it. There are two elements indicated that I am capable to reach my leadership goals. First is I realized which I am lack of, second is take step by step of my action strategies. These conditions allowed me easier to reach my goals. 
  • I am not sure about certain day of when will I achieved my goals, however, beat weakness could enrich my experiences. 
  • If leadership goals achieved, my team members will see my changes, such as I am communication more often than before, actual care about others, give them feedback and offer opinions during the team work. Especially my communication skills, the moment I reached goals, it is easy to perceive it.
