I thought this was important quote because Jack and Libby the two main characters and they both have feelings for each other. Jack and Libby have been through a lot but they never really realize how they feel for each other until the end of the book. When I found out in the book that they will have feelings for each other i got a warm feeling and it made me happy.

In my book a good symbol was when the two main characters Jack and Libby have a connection with this book that makes the come together in the end, called We have always lived in the Castle. Jack one of the characters gives the book to Libby, Libby also gives Jack the same book. Both characters have a connection with the book that bonds them together.

Book review from Booklist

Grades 8-11 Libby was once very fat—so fat that fire rescue had to cut a hole in her wall to haul her from her home. That was a low point. It took three years for her to get healthy, if not thin. Now she is strong and defiant in the face of bullies, determined not to hide her hard-won physique. Jack is a cute guy in Libby’s class, but he’s just skimming along, hiding behind a veneer of popularity. Libby and Jack have little in common, but improbably, after she slugs Jack following a bullying incident, a fragile relationship begins, and soon Libby is the only one who knows Jack’s secret, which he has been desperate to keep hidden. He has face blindness. Can these two improbable friends become something more? As she did in All the Bright Places (2015), Niven creates well-developed characters and allows their relationship to evolve authentically. Some may find the pace slow, while others will appreciate that true feelings evolve over time. Recommended for readers looking for nonstereotypical love stories. HIGH-DEMAND BACKSTORY: Niven gained a loyal following after her smash hit, All the Bright Places, and those fans will eagerly line up to see what she’s up to this time. -- Colson, Diane (Reviewed 8/1 /2016) (Booklist, vol 112, number 22, p63)

I agree with because Jack Masselin has a disorder that he got by falling off a roof when he was younger, called prosopagnosia. Jack can't recognize faces even his family, he can see faces but its like he is just seeing strangers. Libby Strout gained a lot of weight when her mother died when Libby was younger. She went to a theroipist and lost some weight but not all of it. I think overall this book was really good and I would read it again.

I think the conflict in the book is when Libby and Jack both get detention. Jack and his friends are playing a game who can stay on a fat girl the longest. When Jack jumped on Libby, Libby punched Jack. Both Jack and Libby were annoyed at each other and didn't like one another. But when Libby and Jack started hanging out more they started having feeling for each other. Little did Jack and Libby know they would fall in love.
