You have to read the whole trilogy to actually have feelings about it. To me reading "When I was Joe" (first book of the trilogy) it got me hooked and i just had to find out what happens and the truth about everything. The book helped me realize to myself that it could always be worse, and their's always someone in the world going through a tougher time than me no matter what it is.It also made me realize that what I'm going through isn't only happening to me, that it actually happens to every teenager at my age. I would defiantly read more book from Keren David, and for sure recommend others to read her books

In the book "Another Life" i learned a lot more about Tyler's cousin Archie. He gets in a lot of trouble and get purposefully kicked out of all of the schools he gets sent to. He turns out to be a real chick magnet but in the end the choices me makes turns that whole thing around and he ends up losing all the girls that was crushing on him. He lives a wealthy life because of his parents work. Archie is a stoner and goes to a lot of parties and seem to be real popular at his school. Despise his popularity he seems to be more concerned about how his cousin grew up and to find out the truth about him than to worry about his own life.

Archie takes it upon himself to go to Tyler home town and see how he grew up. Of course he doesn't allow any one to know that he is related to Tyler and doesn't give them his real name. Archie goes to the boxing training lessons where Tyler and his buddy Aaron would go to. Everyone would question Archie (they knew him as Kyle) if he was related to Tyler because of how similar they looked alike. Archie being the fool he is he starts catching feelings for a girl named Shannon (Aaron's Ex) and he soon's tell her the truth about why he is their and all about Tyler. Shannon's is a real looker, so she brought Archie to see Aaron in prison so that Archie could find out for him self if Tyler was telling the truth. That visit is where Archie messed up, Aaron told him that Tyler was telling the truth and convinced him to get him to come visit him and that he can get the gangsters told hold back. Of course Archie started stalking Tyler's girlfriend and found out where he was living. He convinced Tyler to come so when they was waiting for the bus to go to the prison a car full of gangsters came and grabbed them. They escaped eventually but you wonder if Tyler died or was just wounded and you don't find out till the very end in the very last paragraph because its a letter that he's writing to Archie.

"I found out that day just how easy it is to kill someone" This quote is really important because its the major twist of the book making you wonder if the gun killed Tyler when he dropped it or not.
