^{He was the first person in Africa to build a wind turbine, built a solar-powered water pump that supplied clean water, a drip irrigation system, malaria prevention, a deep-water well to pump out water from the soil beneath, and solar-power for the six homes on his family’s compound.}

^{His first invention was a wind-turbine, and the invention he is most known for achieving. He built the wind turbine to power the lights and the radios in his family’s home, and without that their house would be shrouded in darkness and have no idea what’s going on outside of their homes.}

How did he come up with his invention?

^{He came up with their invention from a very rough plan from a book he found inside a library. He brought it home with him to create the wind-mill from the rough plan, while changing it up to suit what he needed and had on hand.}

^{The benefits of his invention were plenty, he had gained electricity in his home and was able to be recognised in front of a much bigger platform, given the opportunity to attend school again to increase his knowledge and education, able to write a book about his invention and bring more clever inventions to help his community thrive.}

^{Yes! Wind-turbines are especially used today especially for conservation and environmental-friendly purposes! They are one of the many resourceful ways that countries are collecting energy.}
