England was in severe debt after the french and Indian war. They lost a lot of money because of the fighting. They also lost soldiers. So in return they decided it would be a good idea if they created a proclamation line. this stopped people from settling on certain land. Because if people did they be in more. They also after careful consideration decided to raised taxes for colonists. They raised taxes on tea, sugar, stamps, and so much more. Lastly they decided it would be a rational choice if they sent British troops everywhere.

The solution was they eventually stationed British troops to protect the land but that cost them a lot of money. There was also trouble with trade regulations, as many Americans were smuggling British goods. Their solution was to replace a jury for a judge and to enforce the Writs of Assistance and the Sugar Act. The last problem that they faced was finances. They were in a very bad financial position which caused them to raise taxes. The solution to this was to enforce the Sugar Act and Stamp Act
