Description:
Students will create a Life Map that traces key milestones in their personal development and connects those experiences to their developing teacher identity. The final product should include:

• A visual representation (timeline, collage, digital story, etc.)

• A 3–4 page reflective essay analyzing how developmental stages, relationships, and environments have shaped their worldview and motivations for entering teaching

• Discussion of how personal values align with professional ethics and responsibilities

Description:
Students will complete a written and/or multimedia case study analysis based on a student profile featuring complex identity markers (e.g., language learner, disability, trauma history, LGBTQ+, foster care). Students will:

• Identify relevant human development factors

• Propose inclusive teaching strategies

• Cite relevant equity-focused educational practices

• Describe how collaboration with families and professionals can support the student

Deliverables:

• 4–5 page case analysis with references to course readings

• Annotated instructional plan or visual strategy map

• Optional class presentation or peer discussion facilitation

• A research-informed essay (3–4 pages) connecting observations to human development theory, classroom equity, and teacher responsibilities
