         <description><![CDATA[<div>-I found that there was an apparatus that uses one of the Octopi adaptations.<br><br>-They used the suction cup portion.<br><br>-This got me to thinking how we could take this reacher one step closer.<br><br>-I have seen this apparatus used and it does not work well when pulling food or glasses from high shelves. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-First I started with the basic design. <br><br>-I then decided that in order for this contraption to be better and use more adaptations it needed to work better. <br><br>-I started by adding a third arm. This arm would be straight like the others with a third suction cup. (1st adaptation used- arm with suction cup)<br><br>-This would not work any better then the original.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-I next started with the first design and choose to add finger like grabbers (adaptation 2 used- long bendable arms). <br><br>-This proved to be a little better at grabbing but still had its problems of dropping and breaking things like the original design. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Reach All Catch All</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-After looking at the second design I decided to take this and add to it. <br><br>-The bendable fingers allow for a better grab. <br><br>-The suction cups allow for a better hold.<br><br>-However, the whole design would still lead to some dropping. The items might not suction well or they may be to slippery for the contraption, even with three arms.<br><br>This lead to my final prototype. <br><br>-The final prototype will use both the adaptation of the suction cups and the bendable arms and add a catch all net. This will be like the Octopi in the way of holding its food in order to consume it. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Sustainability</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To be sure the Reach All Catch All will be made of lightweight metal materials with strong elastic in the bendable fingers. This will allow for the product to be durable and lightweight. The net will be made of the paracord in order to hold up and not rip when something falls down into it. The suction cups will be made using factory grade suction in order to grasp onto materials better.</div>]]></description>
