Classroom structure in the classroom - routines - always allow student to work alone.

Educate the entire class (maybe morning meeting) to talk about the cultural differences within the classroom and the student backgrounds within your class.

Talk about cultural differences and how we are all alike and how we are all different and how we need to celebrate.

Teacher needs to model how to respond for students - bud do not stand silent.
