In 1492, After the Columbian exchange of crops, animals and slaves. The European colonies would build big plantations for different kinds of crops that have higher demand. For example sugar, cotton and tobacco. These three crops would have high demand and high maintenance. This would give the plantation owners the idea to buy slaves and bring them to the planation to work. So once the plantation owners brought the slaves they would put them to work and make them take care of the crops for them. From all of the Africans Americans slave arrival, it introduced more tropical diseases. These diseases would kill some of the plantation owners.
