The city of Pucón is located on the eastern shore of Lake Villarrica, 70 km from the border with Argentina through the Mamuil Malal pass, 100 km southeast of Temuco and 780 km from the capital Santiago. It stands out for being the most important lake resort in Chile, with great seasonal activity in the summer. It is known as the "Chilean capital of adventure tourism". In its surroundings it has a variety of tourist attractions that complement its beaches on the lake, such as thermal centers, ski centers and national parks, among others. The rural area has the appeal of ever-snowy volcanic cones, fagaceae and coniferous forests, and a large number of torrential rivers, some of which are home to caissons, jumps and waterfalls. To all this is added the great variety of flora and fauna that make an ideal complement for national and foreign tourists.
