For this project, I want you to be in groups of 3-4 students. Think carefully about who you want to be partnered with, you will be working on this project over the course of three weeks, and it will be worth 10% of your grade in this class. You are going to be designing a project around one pathway that we have discussed this semester. You will be designing some creative way to explain your pathway to the class. You must include a visual and auditory component, but I want you to have the freedom to be as creative as possible. Some examples of songs people have done are included on this page to get you started, but you are not required to make a song. You could create a skit to perform in class, or a short movie, or anything that you think will allow you to explain your pathway in a way that is both fun and informative. On this page you will see examples of some songs about different pathways from YouTube, as well as my project which was designed with Scratch. Because Scratch can be challenging, projects created with it will be given 2 extra credit points, as long as all criteria are followed.

Overall, this project will help you gain an better understanding of many of the pathways of life and how they interact. You will learn about your pathway, as well as the pathways your classmates chose as we present and discuss. To do accomplish this, you will be integrating biology, technology, writing, art, and communication skills.

Electron Transport Chain,

Photosynthesis (both light-independent and light-dependent),

Human body systems (digestion, respiration, immune)

Overall the project needs to show an in-depth understanding of the pathway

30% of your grade on the project is based on the written overview of the pathway, so make sure you take some time to work on that. I will allow one re-submission to make changes and improve your grade on that portion.
