I have been introduced to my other coworkers by the head of branch Bukit Mertajam. In the same day, I have been introduced the scopes of work. The scopes of work are arrange the flash cards, assistant teacher, and check the children’s homework in the homework class. The head of branch Bukit Mertajam, Mrs Ng is already made my arrangement. So, Mrs Ng is given eighteen books to me. The eighteen books have standard one, standard two and standard three which there were part one and part two every standards. The books have three languages like Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and Bahasa Inggeris. Mrs Ng also gives marker pen, rubber band and card rings which using in the process of arrangement. Mrs Ng told that arrange the flash cards based on the books. Start, I open one box of flash cards. The box is keeping the flash cards of writing the Mandarin words. The box of flash cards is belong standard one. I arrange the flash cards based on the topics of the books. I arrange one set of flash cards every topics. Day 2
Today is my second day doing SIEP at Pusat Tuisyen Sarjana Muda.  I finish arranged one box of flash cards yesterday.  Mrs Ng checks my work which ensure do wrong or true.  Unfortunately, I arrange the flash cards wrongly.  Actually, I need to make four sets of flash cards every topics.  So, I do them again.  I arrange the flash cards that follow by Mrs Ng’s request.  Mrs Ng also has special commanded me.  The special command is mentioned the topics of flash cards that not meet.  After, I have to back up the topics of flash cards that not meet.  This is because the blank flash cards aren’t bring back which there are in the another branch.  I arrange the flash cards which follow the topics of the books.  I arrange the flash cards then tie the flash cards with rubber band.  This action is made sure the flash cards aren’t mess.  I finish tie the flash cards that had kept in the box.  The box is broken that has to renew box.  If the box is only covered with dust, I need to use the wet cloth which ensures clear up the dust.  I work until 6.15p.m on the second day.

Miss Ong is given me the blank flash cards which brought from another branch. I back up the flash cards that not meet. So, I finish the Mandarin flash cards which include part one and part two. I open other boxes. I open the box that keeps the flash cards is written English words. I check the English words based to the books. I find the flash cards is belong standard one. I start arrange the flash cards. I discover the flash cards that can’t use because the format is updated. I separate the flash cards because some flash cards can use. Although the format is updated, some vocabularies are much the same. I keep the flash cards that can’t use in the different box. The flash cards can use are arranged by topics. I also exchange the rubber band because the rubber band is broken or melting. I use the blank flash cards to write down the new words with the marker pen. I find some flash cards only have one set but some have completely. So, I fill up another three set every topics that only have one set. I keep the flash cards in the box that completely. I continue arrange the flash cards because I did not finish the flash cards yesterday. I finish the English flash cards that involve part one and part two. After that, I open another boxes. This box is keep the flash cards are written Malay words. I check the flash cards which standards belong in order easy to arrange the flash cards based to the topics of the books. Finally, I find the flash cards are belong standard one. The words belong standard one. I arrange the flash cards in the same time I find a serious problem. This subject is almost updated. So, I keep on the flash cards that cannot use. I write down the new vocabularies and tie with rubber band. I also have to take note every topics on the corner of flash cards as P1Ejaan 1. I mention P1 is known standard one, ejaan is known spelling and 1 is known topic. Ejaan can exchange with subjects. This action is made other users easy to find. I always remindthat has to do four set every topics. I continue writing the new vocabularies on the flash cards and tie the flash cards. I arrange the Malay flash cards include part one and part two in the box. Finally, I complete the flash cards are belong standard one every subjects. I open other boxes. This time the box is kept the flash cards is written English words which belongs standard two. I arrange the flash cards which find some flash cards can use but some flash cards cannot use. The flash cards cannot use that keep in the different box. The flash cards can use whom I arrange and tie with topics. I back up the vocabularies by topics are not. I finish the flash cards after I exchange the rubber band with card rings. Today, I have a new responsibility like taking care the day care children when they eat lunch or refreshment and take bath. I have to avoid children chase because children chase will lead the accidents happen such as falling and knocking on the corner of the tables. I have to urge them take bath. When they eat lunch, I have to limit time which do not give them talk. This action of urging them take bath and limit time which makes sure them do not waste time and follow up the schedule. Today is Saturday. I have to come early. I have to open the door of center and wait the parents carrying their children come. The center only opens tutorial class half day. I am an assistant teacher in that day because a teacher resigns so I have on her class. She also special remind to me which unless parents specially tell that their child need to complete his homework in the tutorial class or teacher has to check his homework and teach their child do homework until completing his homework in the tutorial class. The tutorial is running as usual. The center opens the tutorial on Saturday in order children strengthen their weakness for the main subjects. The main subjects are Malay, Mandarin, English, Science, and Mathematics. The tutorial also opens for kindergarten children because their parents want their child lay for the foundation. In the class, teacher also teaches kindergarten children reading, listening, and writing for three subjects. There are Mandarin, Malay and English. The teacher is using one-on-one teaching method. First, I have to prepare lesson for using in the tutorial on Saturday. I need to find the suitable books on the bookcase. The suitable books are followed for children like years, degree and progress. Then, I copy the practice questions of the books for children. Mrs Ng and Miss Ong teach me that using the copier machine. Before I copy the practice questions, I need to enter password or ID and adjust the function of copier machine such as paper size; ratio and 1-2 sided. After copy the practice questions, I need to write down the name of children. This action is easy to find and save time. I folder the practice questions in the book. Finally, I need to record in the paper like the name of children and practice progress. I tie the practice questions and keep in bookshelf. I also prepare extra practice questions for children. This is because I have no time to prepare when the tutorial in progress and do not leave the children in the class. The students will happen fight and quarrel when teacher not. I continue writing new vocabularies which is subject English and classified standard two. I tie and arrange the flash cards followed with topics then keep in the box. So, I write the new vocabularies on the flash cards and tie the flash cards based topics. I arrange the flash cards and keep in the box. I also take care day care children when they back from school. Today, I have to wait parents carrying their children back to home. The children wait their parents in the counter after the tuition finishing. I stay with them at there. Mrs Ng also mentions the things that I have to keep in mind. The things that I have to keep in mind are cautious and be careful when parents carrying children back to home and bringing the children cross the road if need. I have to wait all children back although late. I need to label the standard and spelling outside the box which include the other boxes have already done. The label spelling is followed subjects. I also take care day care children when they back from school. I enter in the homework class. Before I enter in the homework class, I have to urge the children enter in the homework class and bring with school beg. I do not check all people’s homework. I only need check the people has problem as often not complete homework. So, I have to check six people’s homework. I need to check their workbooks and exercise books. I make sure them taking notice homework in the book. I find their workbooks and exercise books are marked question mark, written transcribe and written late so I have to take actions. The actions are warning the children done the homework and note the children. I also check their school bag which afraid the children keeping homework in the bag. The children is not checked th homework so the children can do their homework directly. They will ask me the questions that do not understand in the homework class. After, I urge them keep their homework in bag and bring out the bag. The children arrange their bag on the stairs. I reach the centre early. Mrs Ng gives a stack of paper to me. The stack of paper is practices of English essay. She teaches me adjusting the function of copier machine when I copy the stack of paper. After copying the stack of paper, Miss Ng gives ruler to tear the papers. I have to stick the papers on the black A4 papers. I stop tearing and sticking the papers when take care day care children. I enter in the homework class. I check the six children that often not complete in the homework. Then, I enter in the tuition class. Today is Mathematics tuition. The tuition is including standard 2, standard 4 and standard 5. I responsible teach standard two children. Mrs Ng also gives encouragement and values when playing games. This activity is held one day of week. In the same time, I continue tearing and sticking the papers. I finish tearing and sticking the papers. After that, I arrange the flash cards. I also need to wait the parents carrying their children back to home. All children are brought back from their parents.
