Ivan, the main character in "Cemetery Path" by Leonard Q. Ross, can be described as a greedy man. In the text, he takes the bet partially because of the money. As he is walking through the cemetery he repeats, "Five gold rubles..." (Ross 2). This shows he risks his life for money revealing that he is greedy.
