In this project, as part of a concerned online community. I will be making a virtual museum using a padlet that shows the different cultures of Mongolia (Official name:Mongol Uls). I’ll show different cultures from different time periods of Mongolia, before the unification of Mongolia by Genghis Khan and afterwards, during the existence of the soviet union and the modern era. I’ll show cultures that still persist but are struggling to continue. I am doing this because Mongolia is a developing country and developing countries are constantly getting affected by cultural globalization. Their cultures are being superseded by cultures of other bigger countries with better economic and political power that are able to spread their culture. Also Mongolia has a low population density, the density is 2 people per km^2, which is really low, which makes it hard for their own culture to spread within. There are many ways to preserve their culture and I tend to show the different minority cultures and show why they are worth preserving. People can also contribute to preserving the culture by raising awareness in their own ways.
