It outlines factors contributing to their struggles, such as academic difficulties, financial hardship, disabilities, and emotional challenges, and emphasizes the importance of providing support through academic assistance, mentoring, and a safe learning environment. The role of teachers in building trust, fostering communication, and showing support is highlighted as a key factor in student success.</p><p><br/></p><p>Read through <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://smhp.psych.ucla.edu/publications/adressingtraumaandotherbarrierstolearning.pdf">this scientific journal</a> to develop a deeper understanding of at-risk students and explore some ways to prevent students from becoming at-risk. The main focus of this article lies in shifting the focus towards the whole student rather than solely academics. Ultimately, addressing a students mental health can improve other factors of being at-risk. </p>]]></description>
