This station would help in fine motor development and can also help children learn to play independently. I enjoyed the satisfaction of getting all the blocks to balance on one another. Once I started to development my sand tray I started to think about who I wanted to represent in the my world. I added a welcome gate because I want people to feel like they can come into my life. I put a fence up because I want the people in my life to stay close to one another. I put a bridge in between Nathan and me and my family because I am currently trying to figure out how to integrate my significant other into my life and my family life. The gems represent Cornerstone and all my residents.
