Written in 1957.</p><p>I-Trying to convince the allies on why appeasement was a good decision for the British.</p><p>P-To get his point across and to get appeasement for the specific policy.</p><p>P-British foreign secretary that was a  key figure in supporting the policy of appeasement. </p><p>O-The excerpt comes from the memoir "The Fullness of Days" which was also written by Lord Halifax. </p>]]></description>

Germany also got much stronger because of this appeasement. </p><p><br/></p><p>Chamberlin was trying to avoid another war and feared that the people of Great Britain would lose their faith in the country.
