1 How are we going to do portfolios for lower grades?

2 How will SLC will happen if this files are send home?

3 Spacing should be given between the lines as there is very small gap in between them.

Do we have to document the works they are doing in Math everyday in their files once the class is done ? Because separate time for filings everyday is something I am concerned about Because every class we will not be getting time to file it .

It helps the teachers to understand students' reflection in a more precise manner.

There is clear set of booklets for each unit, so it's easier for both teachers and students to refer back.

Cons-If the child forgets the book how can we make them write and how can we attach the same to the booklet.

Pros- The learners can sort out easily to understand which is more important rather reading the entire notes part

The teachers can understand if the students had understood the concepts as it has sections for us to quickly go through

Cons: The space for the summary might be challenging for a smaller grade child to fit all the thoughts

The line spacing also looks too close

Easy to maintain a record/ keep a track for teachers as well

Easy to carry and cannot be easily misplaced

Childs interest level to read the content will increase. They will come to know the method of taking short notes. My concern is will the space between the lines be sufficient for them to write within space.

Pro- I am looking forward as I really like the idea of writing the questions after note-making and writing inferences. That would definitely help in strengthen their conceptual understanding. As a teacher, I feel it is a reliable source to understand and reflect about the learners and the engagement.

Cons - The line spacing is too less.

Might need time to acclimatize about it to all the learners.

Pros -

Students' learning will be more organised and structured way.
Helps to enhance students' focus on what they do.
Students will be more excited to get to know about this transition.
Cons -
1. Students those who write big might struggle to use the sheets, as the gap between the lines are small.
2. The process of selecting the best work for their E-portfolio will be more easier with the notebooks.
Questions
1. For standalone subjects how many booklets will be given to the each student? Will it be on semester basis or yearly basis?
2. If it gets over before the academic year ends, will the booklets be available for the students to get it again?
