Mexico current government status is a democracy,  they became a democracy after the Revolution and the Constitution of 1917 to replace Diaz's dictatorship, coups and corruptions in the two decades following the revolution.

 Mexico: GDP (Gross domestic product) in current prices from 2022 were 1,285.52 billion dollars.

The relations between Mexico and the U.S is broad and goes beyond diplomatic and official relations. It encompasses extensive commercial, cultural and educational ties. U.S. goods and services trade with Mexico totaled an estimated $577.3 billion in 2020.
