How/When Was This Culture Introduced To Australia?

The Chinese culture was introduced to Australia around the Gold Rush times (1800’s). At this time, many men were sent to find gold and to earn money for their families that they would then send back home for the family to spend on essentials. The Chinese brought their own foods because they did not like European food therefore this was the introduction of Chinese culture to Australia.

What Effects Has The Introduction Of These Foods Has Had On Australian Eating Habitats?

The diet of many Australians is very unhealthy because instead of eating fruits and vegetables, many of us go straight for the more processed and fatty foods. The Chinese culture has made this matter worse because Chinese have brought lots of deep-fried foods that many Australians enjoy and it is not good for them. The Chinese have brought lots of healthy foods as well but the ones that many Australians select are high in fats and sugars. I recommend to eating small amounts of Chinese foods because of its high fat content or choose the healthier options.
