Differences in opinions of how to tackle environmental problems.
Difference in priorities of environment for different people- many would argue for reduced pollution but wouldn't if it mean a standard of living decrease.

It's important to attempt to control and prevent climate change, but I think it's also important to look at the people who are worst impacted in the UK by climate change. For example, those who live in coastal communities already earn on average £1,600 less than living inland, therefore social policy needs to adapt to avoid geographical inequality, which could be made worse by climate change damaging fisheries etc.

Employment-using targeted employment schemes and retraining to ensure future jobs for vulnerable groups (eg farm labour in coastal areas)
