My exchange partner was a very friendly girl named Evie. They picked me up from school and drove me to their house in Haelen. I arrived in the morning so we still had a lot of free time. We decided to go to Roermond. Our assignment there was to do a photo game and collect as many points as possible. So we did that and then we went shopping (again). On Thursday the school prepared another trip – this time to Amsterdam. First of all we went to museum, then we could take pictures by the famous sign. Then we visited The Amsterdam Dungeon a hounted house where actors showed us the dark history of Amsterdam. The Dutch students prepared a cultural afternoon connected with the celebratings of Sinterklaas. The atmosphere was amazing but when it was over everyone was saying goodbye and crying.
