         <description><![CDATA[<div>The reverse operation of the function must also be a function, and reflect the original graph. For example, y = x^2 has an inverse relation of y^2 = x. This reflects the original graph. However, it is not a function. If you were to keep it a function, it would simply be y = sqrt(x), but this wouldn't be the inverse of the original graph, as it would just have one side of the curve.</div>]]></description>
