It allows them to access lessons without a teacher. It is successful for more students in the in hybrid class because its easier to help students understand the misconceptions in the moment. However, often Zearn's interface is frustrating for students (in the lower grades) who have already developed conceptual learning ideas outside of the program and are forced to review those ideas (decomposing numbers in second grade for example) more often than needed making them resistant to math. https://padlet.com/jkugler3/fz9mosm88r9jdt45/wish/1461905384 I like the Zearn approach its far better than Pearson with strong visual representations.
