AI will be the main source. AI will give us more accurate and reliable results that is sure but it will also the assesment fairer. How? Tailored-based tests like adaptive tests. There is no need long hours test to get knowledge but within 20 minutes, you can learn the level of learners like VERSANT (Pearson). Also, we will have AI assissted tests that means AI will help but the teachers will be the judge especially while developing questions. So, AI will be the main and assistor of assesment depend on the aim. For high stake tests, AI will be the main like adaptive tests but in-class assesment, the teacher will get help from AI but the main decision will be based on the teachers because every class can have different needs to assess which is called dynamic assessment. For the future, I expect dynamic assessment in classes and AI based adaptive tests in the world. They are used now but should be more common.
