Even now the media is portraying Nixon as a power hungry man that wants to get rid of what the media is saying that hurts his image. Media was saying how Nixon was consumed with rage because of how the press was criticizing him because of the Vietnam War and was telling us how Nixon was plotting to kill Jack Anderson in many different ways such as poisoning. I cross referenced this with the Daily beast and timeline.com and was covered on Nov. 23, 2016. Work choice is the bias.

Also says that from the day he entered office the second time the media wouldn't let up and just kept bashing him and lying about him.

I found many things the surprised me like how the press fabricated Nixon to make him look like a bloodthirsty killer and wanted to murder everyone who opposed him. He did employ an agent to look at ways to kill a journalist but he didn't want to kill every person that opposed him. Even more surprising was that even as hated as everyone thinks Nixon was, I actually found more positive articles about him than negative. The positive articles portrayed him as completely innocent and of course that isn't true. Also these articles show him as a sad man that is regretting what he did wrong and accepted his punishment. Also shows you that Nixon just wanted to help America and step down from the presidency. I can't prove or disprove if Nixon was actually sincere or not because really only Nixon knows if he was sincere or not.
