Lensoo is a cool whiteboard tool that students used to show their work and explain how they solved their problems. I could use this in ela by having students take a photo of text that answers a question, annotate textual evidence, and use the recording feature to analyze and explain how the evidence supports their idea. I like the way Yvette used speaking, collaboration, and writing in her math classroom. Glows: The new boy was immediately a part of the room: participating in class, partnering with someone else, having a voice as he shared his reasoning on how he solved hs problem. I spoke with him as he left the classroom--he felt a part of Yvette's community immediatly and the integration of technology was part of what made him connecct so quickly. Kudos to Yvette.

Grows: I wonder how you could possibly purposefully differentiate the problems and the work they share.

Dr. Ford provided a very inviting learning environment by adding various forms of integrated technology. The students were very comfortable using the technology and there was evidence throughout the room of on-going technology focus. For example, music was used to create an upbeat ambiance; students were able to use their cell phones, or tablets to work through their assignments. Students were also able to be creative with the use of Lensoo, which was very interesting to watch. As I watched the students engage in the days lesson, I would like to learn of a way to project multiple pages/screens onto the SMART board; this would have been helpful in displaying the math problems but showing the results of the Poll Everywhere! Great Job!

Great idea playing music. Good behavior=music.

Grows: I wouldn't have shown which answers students were choosing during Poll Everywhere. I see my students not doing the work, but selecting the option that everyone else is choosing. However, I teach high school.

Wonderful implentation of technology!
