My name is Annie Rhoad. I am an Early Childhood Special Education teacher in the St. Joseph School District in St. Joseph, MO. I will begin my thirteenth year of teaching this fall. I taught first grade for one year, preschool for 9 years and I am beginning my third year as a special education teacher. I love my current job! My position is itinerant and so I am able to go into the classrooms of my colleagues and work/case manage the students on IEPs. I am also a wife and a mother of four. My husband and I are blessed to have two boys and two girls, ages, 12, 10, 8 and 6. We go to opening day every year and multiple games through out the season. My husband even won the ticket "lottery" and was able to buy World Series tickets for each one of the home games! My 95 year old grandma could tell you everything you need to know about every player. This program is very user friendly and easy to use. I also use Learning Genie to collect data on the students for our assessment, Desired Results Developmental Profile. In my personal life I use technology in many different ways. I have a kindle that I use for reading for enjoyment.
