I’m a Colombian professional football player. I speak Spanish but I really like to speak English when is possible. I’m studying occupational health and safety, this is not the career I liked most when I was young but, thinking about near future I can see it as a potential job because my father has a company which is based on it. I’m married and I have two sons. They are 6 years old and 2 years old, when I have free time I like to spend time with them, take them to the playground and have some fun. I like to go with my wife to visit new restaurants, my kids enjoy doing this too, and also because of my job and for health I really like to go to the gym.

My home city is Cali but in this moment I’m living in Barrancabermeja because I was playing for Alianza Petrolera, it’s a professional football team. My wife and my sons are living with me, we try to stay together always, it doesn’t matter the place or city that I have to go to work. In Barrancabermeja we are living in a nice house which is located in a normal neighborhood, there is a public school and a private school too, there is a car wash, there is a small catholic church near my house, there is a playground for kids, there are some barbershops and there are also some hair salons, there are many grocery stores, drugstores and some very good restaurants.

Most of the days I wake up at 5-5:30 am, it depends on what time I have training session, if it’s in the morning I eat breakfast around 6:30 am, then I take my car and go to the club’s field to train. After training session, I go to my house to take lunch with my family around 12:30 pm. If I don’t have double training session, in the afternoon I like to spend time with my kids and wife, we take our boys to practice football or swimming classes, then we eat dinner around 7:30 pm, then we help each other to organize our house and when we get ready we go to the bed to rest. Most of the weekends I have games so I have to travel with the team, sleep in different hotels and play in stadiums against other teams. Si, estudié y aprendí los temas propuestos en el e-book, junto con el desarrollo de los ejercicios del mismo. Realicé los aportes en el foro en el tiempo correspondiente. Hasta ahora no he participado en ningún espacio de aprendizaje distinto al foro del curso. Después de realizar esta tarea tengo más clara la forma de describir mi perfil, el lugar donde vivo y su descripción, y aprendí a describir de mejor manera mi rutina. Siempre es importante aprender cualquier idioma desde sus bases, esto permitirá que al momento de expresarse se pueda hacer de una forma más técnica. El inglés como idioma universal se ha convertido en un requisito muy importante a nivel profesional y personal. ¿Estudié y realicé las prácticas de todo el contenido del e-Book? Si estudié y realicé los ejercicios propuestos en el e-book 

¿Participé en el foro dentro de los tiempos indicados? Si, si bien estuve en el tiempo límite, estuve dentro de los parámetros. 

¿Preparé y dediqué suficiente tiempo para realizar una buena presentación oral en el video y/o en la asesoría sincrónica? Si, verifiqué con anticipación que las condiciones fueran buenas en cuanto a la conexión y audio para que la entrevista funcionara de buena manera. 

¿Me siento más seguro de expresarme Oralmente en inglés? Si, a medida que transcurre el curso voy afianzando algunos conceptos que me permiten sentirme más cómodo a la hora de sostener una conversación en inglés.

 ¿Cómo aporta este aprendizaje a mi vida personal y profesional? Considero que aprender otro idioma, especialmente inglés, se ha convertido en una necesidad para cualquier persona que tenga el deseo de marcar diferencia en su profesión.
