Difference :
Asylum Seeker : Hasn't yet been legally reconized as a refugee and is waiting to receive a decisions on their asylum claim. They dont have opportunity to work and study.
Refugee : They have been reconized by the country and already have rights to study and work there.
Cathleen : I would donate money to them from having a charity from the local people to build a school and other facilities there. If its not possible, id like to volunteer myself or find other volunteers to help teaching in the place they are living in

Both sides are trying to flee from danger that are caused by either war, disaster or any other kind of problems that causes them to become refugees/asylum seekers. They also need protection from the law under human rights. They're also vulnerable to any potential danger because they're unprotected.
Differences:
Most refugees would be recognized already by the law and is already provided safety, however asylum seekers aren't. Refugees have more rights/access to the place they're staying, but asylum seekers have far less.
Providing basic needs upon refugees and asylum seekers arrival and as well work and education opportunities without needing visas to gain such access. Mental health support to those who need them, and finally processing of asylum seekers to gain their respective rights.
