  •  Should increase tax to: help fund U.S. infrastructure
  •     It would give rise to a new market, urging competitiveness from more companies, benefiting the consumer (EV vehicles account for almost none of the vehicle sales in the US for instance)
  • Prices are low, now is the perfect time to ween in a little more tax
  • Raising tax will discourage purchasing of gas guzzling vehicles and save the environment
  • Congress needs to take care of the roads and that will never get done if there’s no funding
