More than anything, I believe in my students. When we nurture their hearts, spark their creativity, and provide a safe space for them to grow, they thrive. In that space, anything is possible! 🧸🎀

During our first day of classes, we participated in various activities during exploration time. We played with toys in the purple classroom and enjoyed water play with purple items in the bin, learning how to scoop and pour the water.

We also fed our Animal Friends: we put leaves in the giraffe's mouth and fed Hey Hey the Chicken with large and small pom-poms. All of my friends enjoyed these activities, which helped them develop problem-solving skills as they figured out how to insert the food into the animals' mouths.

Another activity was painting on the wall with blue, red, and yellow paint. It was wonderful to see our friends expressing their creativity in their own ways. They loved painting and felt happy when they saw the results of their work. This activity also helped improve their fine motor skills.

For our first art activity, we encouraged our friends to draw and color in their own way. We provided materials like egg crayons and ball markers, which are easy for them to grip. They had fun scribbling their chosen colors on the paper, and it made us happy to see how much they enjoyed the activity. These drawing materials are especially useful for our friends because they help them practice their gripping skills with their tiny hands.

For this activity, all of our friends were curious to see what was inside the bin. After checking it with their eyes, they reached in to touch the purple water. Once they felt comfortable, they began playing with the different tools inside the bin. Some washed the dinosaurs using the purple water, and helped them to be squeaky clean. Overall, they were engaged by the purple water activity and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our friends had a fun time familiarizing themselves with the people in the classroom through a picture activity. They curiously examined their photos and wanted to take them off the wall. This activity was a great way to observe that our friends could recognize themselves just by looking at their pictures, and it also helped them become more familiar with the people in class.

Our friends love using our ball markers to draw on white paper. Their attention becomes focused as soon as they start gliding the markers, adding colors and lines. Art time helps them relax and gives them the freedom to express their creativity in their own unique ways. This activity brings us all a sense of contentment as they truly enjoy it.

Today's water activity involved our sea animals swimming in the water, and my friends had a great time playing with them. They used droppers to squirt water on the animals and poured blue water into containers. They also experimented with placing the sea animals inside the containers to see if they would fit.

We were all eager to remove the tape and rescue the animals. Some of the animals were challenging to free, but gradually, we managed to remove all the tape. It was a fun activity that helped us develop our problem-solving skills.

Today's activity was a tour of our purple classroom. First, we learned about the door, where we enter and exit the room. Next to the door is our purple cubby, where our friends' bags are kept. Then, we explored the small table and chairs where we do arts and crafts and eat during snack time. Finally, the highlight of our room is the big mirror with a handle. This mirror helps us become familiar with our faces and the people in our purple room.

Our sensory play today focused on the pleasant smell and rough texture of coffee grounds. It was a fun activity to share with our friends, as they learned to engage with the coffee grounds, despite feeling a bit intimidated by the texture at first. Their curiosity led them to eagerly explore, scoop, and touch the grounds. This activity allowed them to experience the texture with their tiny hands and get creative in their play.

One of our sensory activities today involved a bowl of water and a bowl of coffee grounds, along with tools like scoopers and droppers. The experiment encouraged our friends to use the tools to mix the coffee grounds and water in their own unique ways. Some friends used the droppers to squeeze water onto the coffee, causing it to form chunks, while others used the scoopers to add the coffee grounds to the water. It was wonderful to see how creative my friends were during experiment time.

For our activity today, we used leaves as our paintbrushes. We dipped them into green paint and stamped them onto white cartolina, leaving leaf-shaped prints. Some of our friends enjoyed using other tools to paint, while others preferred to keep their hands clean. This activity was a great sensory experience, allowing us to explore different textures together.

My friends loved swiping the brush from side to side, dipping it into the coffee grounds, and painting on the white cartolina with their tiny hands. This activity helps develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as they follow the brush from left to right.

Being able to play while creating ways to make learning fun is one of my advocacies, especially when it's an enjoyable and fun activity.

Not only do I love what I do, but we get to cultivate their love for learning as we play and explore different things around us! 🍎🌈

participated in a taste-testing activity using various fruits like mango, banana, apple, orange, and lemon. My friends were all excited about the activity; some were already seated, ready to taste and slice the fruits. They liked the mango the most and had fun peeling and tearing the oranges, which helped improve their fine motor skills and grip. Overall, the activity was fun for our little chefs as they loved eating the fruits after tasting and slicing them into tiny pieces.

We learned that these wooden things are made out of trees. This activity introduced our new topic for the week, allowing us to be more familiar with what we can do with trees!

It also supported the development of their fine motor-skills as they held and controlled the paintbrush.
