I get up a quarter past seven, then I have breakfast at half past seven, I usually have chocolate, egg, toast and fruit for breakfast. I do not work, I have lunch at half past twelve, I usually have rice, potato, meat, salad and juice for lunch. After university, I talk to my family, do the house work and watch T.V. I eat dinner every day at seven o‘clock, I usually have  fruit salad for dinner, finally I go to the bed at half past eight. on weekends I go to visit my grandmother and my grandfather, I cook, I go to mass, later I share family time, I watch TV, I chat with my friends and listen to music, I hardly ever study English.

My name is Lizeth Sandoval, I am from El Cocuy, I am a student, I am single, I do not have children, I am 17 years old and I study Systems Engineering, in my free time I watch TV, listen to music, also clean up my house and cook.

2. Descripción de mi casa

I live in El Cocuy, I live with my mother and my brother and I live in a house country. In my house there is a garden, there are red, white, purpure and yellow flowers, also there are medicinal plants . In my house there are three bedrooms, there is a kitchen, a living rom and a bathroom, in my house  the walls are blue and light purple and the doors are light brown. Moreover there is a little garden behind the house, and too there is a patio in front of my house.

Luego de la segunda semana entraba todos los días o máximo cada dos días a revisar todos los mensajes enviados por mi tutora, estudie la mayoría de los temas sugeridos del E-book, no participe en el foro las dos primeras semanas, pues no había revisado la guía de actividades donde decía que se tenía que realizar un aporte semanalmente, el día sábado 11 participe en la réplica de B-learning que había a las 11 de la mañana, puedo decir que en esta tarea aprendí a realizar mi presentación personal, aprendí como describir un lugar utilizando el there are y el there is y las preposiciones de lugar también aprendí a describir mi rutina diaria utilizando las horas y los diferentes conectores, considero que lo aprendido es de suma importancia pues es algo básico que necesitare en el transcurso de mi vida para comunicarme con las personas que no hablan español, este aprendizaje aporta en mi vida personal muchos beneficios, pues vivo en un municipio donde cada rato se tienen visitantes de otros países que no hablan nuestro idioma y gracias a esto me será más fácil comunicarme con ellos y en mi vida profesional sé que tarde que temprano necesitare de cosas básicas como estas para comunicarme.

I live in El Cocuy, it is a beautiful place, in my town there is a church, also there are many touristic places like “Cerro de Mahoma”, “Lagunillas”, “El Cocuy Sierra Nevada” among others.

The typical food in my town is mute and chorizas, the mute is prepared with corn, bean and meat and the chorizas are prepared with meat and condiments.

On the first Sunday of July, usually we celebrate the Virgen del Carmen Festival and always celebrate the Aguinaldo Cocuyano on December 16th (sixteenth). In this celebrations people usually prepare parades, go to mass and spent time with family and friends, people also go out to dance and to drink.

In El Cocuy visitors can go hiking to Cerro de Mahoma, visit Sierra Nevada de El Cocuy, eat the typical food of the municipality and visit the church.
