         <description><![CDATA[<div>Part II discusses the idea of opening people's minds. Adam Grant discusses the Motivational Interview. Several thoughts came as I read this portion but what stood out to me most is this quote:<br>"We can all get better at asking... Truly curious questions that don't have the hidden agenda of fixing, saving, advising, convincing, or correcting and helping to clear expression of another person's thoughts. Listening well is more than a matter of talking less."<br>Showing interest in another person's interest is a good way to not fall prey to the "righting reflex".&nbsp;<br><strong>"Those with more power need to do more of the rethinking... Don't overlook the power of conversation."</strong></div>]]></description>
