The Jim Crow Laws really effected the colored people in America because they were discriminated and segregated by/from other people. For an example, colored people couldn't go to the same public facilities as whites did. It was also unfair for white people because they couldn't go to any public places with their colored friends. Also, in the south if you were African American and wanted to vote, you would have to pay high taxes or take an almost impossible voting test. ~ Kayla, Ralitsa, Keely, and Melina
