같은 시각 미추홀구 석바위시장역 2번 출구 앞의 사정도 마찬가지. 이동약자 편의를 위해 만든 계단 손잡이가 지하철 입구 점자블록 라인까지 튀어나와 시각장애인의 통행을 방해하고 있었다. 점자블록을 따라 이동하자 자동차 1대가 불법주차돼 있었고 이 길엔 보도블록을 교체하면서 점자블록 설치하지 않은 구간도 더러더러 눈에 띠었다.

장애인 등의 편의증진 보장에 관한 법률을 보면 교통시설과 공원 등을 연결하는 보도에는 점자블록을 설치해야 한다. 또 교통약자의 이동편의 증진법에 따라 점자블록 반경 60㎝ 이내에는 어떤 장애물도 없어야 한다.
하지만 인천 지역 버스정류장 인도 곳곳을 규정을 무시한 가점포 등이 차지, 점자블록을 무용지물로 만들고 있다. 점자블록 파손이나 훼손, 점자블록 미설치, 잘못 설치된 점자블록 등도 시각장애인 이동권을 제약하고 있는 실정이다.이는 명백한 차별로 시각장애인들의 이동권을 보장해주지 않는다.

우리나라에서 현재 국가의 점자블록 미설치와 부실한 보도블록 관리는 길에서 시각장애인의 이동권면에서 명백한 차별이다.

일반 학교에 적응이 어려운 다문화 청소년은 대안학교에서 위탁교육을 받을 수 있다. 서울시에 있는 위탁형 대안학교는 현재 40곳이다. 그러나 1년 2학기제가 원칙이어서 총 기간이 2년으로 한정돼 있다. 이에 어쩔 수 없이 원래 다니던 학교로 다시 돌아간 뒤 부적응을 겪고 학업 포기에 이르는 경우도 많다.

한국 교육 현장에서는 다문화 학생에 대한 차별이 나타난다. 차별로 인해 학교에 적응하지 못하고 공교육을 받지 못하는 등의 결과가 나타나고 있는데도 명확한 조치를 취하고 있지 않아 여전히 많은 다문화 가정의 학생들이 학교 생활에 고충을 겪고 있다.

On August 2, at Pyeongtaek Station, a man smashed his dog against a wall and threw it on the floor. He looked emotionally unstable, so no one around him tried to stop him. A station staff approached and tried to stop him, but he didn’t stop abusing his dog and shouted, "This is my dog. Don't mind." Even more astonishing, a police officer arrived soon after but had to let the man take his dog. This is a classic example of the fact that there is nothing we can do if we witness animal cruelty around us in our society.

In most cases, stereotypes arise from the wrong education when we were a student, so we have to solve the problems in the curriculum. The reason for discrimination against multicultural students is that people lack multicultural sensitivity. Multicultural education is being conducted in Korean schools. But at the most, it's about once a year. This is too short a time for them to develop multicultural sensitivity. Students and teachers lack the ability to recognize differences, to accept them without prejudice, and to empathize with the behavior of multicultural students. 지난 8월 8일 기록적인 폭우로 인하여 서울 동작구 신대방동의 한 반지하에서 다운증후군 장애인이 숨지는 사건이 발생하였다. 사건 조사 결과 해당 반지하는 땅에 창문이 붙어있는 구조의 열악한 환경이었기 때문에 밤 사이에 급속도로 물이 집안 가득 찬 것으로 밝혀졌다.
