<title>Active: This characteristic immediately brought me back to and lab classes I had in elementary school and college. We would all actively observe specific organisms, or dissect a frog or cows eye. Good experience to this was that I got to actively learn about something. I would observe the organisms through the microscope and write down my description of it. It was my favorite form of learning. The downside to this characteristic is that sometimes you have too much fun with the project/lab that you forget about the learning aspect. I did leave class a few times trying to remember what the learning objective was suppose to be grasped after the experiment. Sometimes its too fun. Another experience is P.E. In elementary school. We would be very active and play games that would require us to partner up into teams. We learnt skills through play, and learnt how to take care of our bodies physically. </title>

<title>Constructive: In English Comp. 1, we would write assignments for the majority of our class. It would first start out with an outline, then a draft, and then the final product. Our teacher would always leave constructive criticism on our outlines and drafts so that we would come up with the best final product possible. It made us triple check our work to make sure it was good enough. Good side to this was that I learned how to construct an essay like a pro. I do think that my essays are amazing solely because of what I learned in that class. I learnt the art of perfecting. The downfall to this was that I would doubt my work many times. I guess it was from how much I use to revise it, and spell check my work. Re-reading my work multiple times made me hate what I came up with. But in reality the essay was completely fine. It was just my brain trying to make up a mistake or fault that wasn’t present. Another experience is actually from elementary school. In art class we had quite a strict teacher. She was a huge believer that everyone can be an artist. She would make us redo artwork over and over again until we had a piece that was actually good. </title>

<title>Cooperative: In my first few education classes in Southwest, we would play the game “Kahoot” quite frequently. The good side to this was that we got to engage as a whole class together, and competed with each other. It was a great bonding experience, and a great way to review all information prior to an exam. The only downfall to this is that getting the questions wrong in front of my class mates would kind of affect my self-esteem. I am a naturally shy person, so it would take a lot out of me to even answer a question. I have a huge fear of being wrong. Another experience is have group projects together. All three of my education classes required us to participate in a group project where we would create a PowerPoint and teach the class. It was a great way to learn team work. </title>

<title>Authentic: The first thing that came to mind was Speech class in school. The objective of your speech was to move the audience with an authentic story. The good in this: With that platform, you were able to show your own authentic perspective on a specific topic and/or experience. The bad: Not everyone will have the same views, values, and beliefs as you. So what may seem authentic and genuine to you could be the exact opposite to another individual. Another is the debates we would have in education class. Our professor would split us into two groups, and each side would defend their side with authentic reasons. We would express our beliefs in a very authentic and passionate way. </title>

<title>Intentional: The best example of this is google search. Everyone goes there to research a specific topic they want to gain knowledge on, and to find answers to certain questions they have. You go to google with a clear intention of what your searching for. The good in this is that with such specific searches, you are able to find the results you were seeking instantly. The bad side to this is that it makes it too easy sometimes. Some students rely solely on google to do all the “studying” for them. If they don’t intend to actually be open to learn from what they find on google, they wont learn anything at all. Another experience is researching through my textbooks for answers on quizzes. Or even reading a book that talks about self love, and financial assistance. I pick up those books with an intention to learn something that will help me live a better life for myself. </title>
