1.- Love
In the Renaissance the church didn´t rule everything anymore, there was a lot more freedom, which lead to love and romanticism to become the most popular themes of literary works during this era.
It is not always a happy ending love story where everyone´s happy, there are a lot of melancholic, sad, painful and tragic literary love works.
2.- Anthropocentrism
When God and religion weren´t the center of everything and more of a subjective thing, the human became the center of everything and a way of measurement for everything.
3.- Women
Women were always deemed as angelical beings; they represented the highest form of beauty.
4.- Locus Amoenus
Nature got a very notorious importance as it was seemed like an image of perfection. But anthropocentrism intervened in this and in many literary works, the natural scenarios are modified and controlled by humans to their wills.

1.- Theocentric
During that period, the church ruled, and God was the center of everything. Therefore, almost all literary works contained some worshipping to the church and Christianity in general, but mainly towards The Divine Trinity.
2.- Oral transmission
Since the vast majority of the population in that era was illiterate, literature had to be spread around by mouth, so everyone understands it and enjoy it. But reading a big text to someone on the street can be quite boring, that´s the reason they wrote them in...
3.- Verse
Most if not all of the medieval texts were written in prose and hence, designed to be sung. This was for it being more enjoyable and for making it easier to recite.
4.- Anonymous Authors
As mentioned before, during this era, theocentrism ruled, therefore anyone who dared to write anything that went against Christian values would get severe punishments, probably death or torture. Hence why many literary works that did just that, were published from anonymity.
