Especially because my mom is a stay at home mom. My parents would never forgive me if i followed in their footsteps. I hate the pressure that parents put of their children to do this. It’s is hard to reach a goal that is so high. When you fail you feel like you not only failed  yourself but also your parents. I personally think that this kind of presasure can lead to anxiety or stress which is not good for children at a young age and that can affect them in the future.
2)There’s alot  of qualities that makes a person great. I admire a person with a strong character that doesn’t let peoples words or hate towards them affect them. I admire a person with a mindset of success because those are the people who will help you and are good to be around of. I admire a persons personality, their sense of humor makes a difference. I also admire a person who is humble and never brags about what they have. Sonny from the novel Rocket Boy find that family is important but cant let his whole world revolve around them and the relationship he has with them. Sonny understand that he might never have a good parent-child relationship as much as he wants one, or a good relationship with his sibling Jim.   
Jim doesn’t very much like Sonny have never really seen each other as “brothers” because of the differences between who they are, their personalities, and the fact that Jim thinks that his parents constant arguing his Sonny’s fault.  His fathers-son relationship is not that great either, his dad’s favorite is Jim and is constantly bragging about him but he says that there is nothing to brag about when it comes to Sonny but Sonny is always trying to make him proud. “After dad had spent some minutes on the mine phone boasting about Jim to one of his Foremen, that it might be a good thing if he bragged on me every once in a while. Even though he knew I was in the same room, dad though for a moment and then wondered aloud, quite honesty, ‘what about’”(Hickam 28). A nice and loving father would not say this about their kids or very worse about their kids. These words hurt Sonny and much as he was used to them they still hurt because he felt like he will never be able to make his dad proud about him.  Chapters ahead the relationships starts changing and Sonny’s dad sees something to support him on, in a undefined way. Sonny is always looking for his dads approval. When he builds his rockets he always ask his dad or tell his dad to see if that will make him proud of him. “‘Make those fly. Show your dad what you and I did together’”( Hickam 97). Sonny is constantly trying to take his dads opinions no his rocket ideas. He is not just doing this from himself but some part to make his family see that he is capable of things. For Sonny family is important and he is constantly trying to make them proud but he doesn’t always let their opinion get in his way because he has goals.
