Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. The world of aviation is incredible, and thanks to your generosity I now have the ability to enter it. Your support has allowed me to work towards earning my Private Pilot’s License.

This scholarship is the only way this opportunity is possible for me. I live in a single income household, so the financial cost was a huge barrier towards receiving my training. This scholarship helps to cover most of the costs so I can focus on my training rather than how to pay for it. Aviation has been a dream of mine, and now this dream is possible.

Upon writing this letter, I have already completed my solo flight and did a cross country to Marathon in the Florida Keys! The feeling of flying is incredible and like nothing I have ever experiencing.

I am working hard towards my check-ride and am determined in my studying, so I cannot wait to finish my training and earn the title of a private pilot.

Thank you again for investing in my future and supporting kids like me. Your generosity means more to me and my mom than you know, and I could not be more grateful.
