Deoxygenated blood from the body is carried by the veins &amp; enters the heart through the: superior vena cava; blood from the upper part of the body, inferior vena cava; blood from the lower parts of the body.<br><br>The right atrium contracts to recieve the deoxygenated blood. The tricuspid valve will open and allows the blood to enter the right ventricle, and it will contracts while the atrium relaxes.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The right ventricle will have high pressure causing the tricuspid valve to close, this closing can be heard as a "lub" sound. Pulmonary valve will open allowing the blood to pass through the pulmonary arteries that is attached to each lobe of the lungs.<br><br>Deoxygenated blood enters the lungs and passes through its capillaries. Oxygen will diffuse from the alveoli to the blood while the carbon dioxide will diffuse from the blood to the alveoli to be releases through exhalation. Blood becomes oxygenated blood and becomes bright red in color.</div>]]></description>

The left ventricle contracts and the left atrium relaxes.<br>To prevent backflow of blood the mitral valve will close. This will produce the sound "dub"<br><br></div>]]></description>

Oxygenated blood will scatter to all parts of the body into and out of the arteries.<br><br>Oxygenated blood will go through the arteries to the capillaries and will be sent out to the cells. Cells will make use of oxygen and will give off carbon dioxide. The blood will become deoxygenated and will pass through the veins back to the heart.</div>]]></description>
