1. I feel as if no one is just born "bad". The events in people life makes them "change" or adapt. A lot of people have childhood trauma which can change a person; everyone has a story.
2.I feel like we can blame both equally. A lot of people are peer pressure into things and some that just the life that was around them. But also if the person had the right guidance and support there could be a chance they would have a better life. Also this don't mean it will stop a person from harming or doing anything else.

1. I 100% agree that people's upbringing reflects on the crimes they commit today. Many kids experience trauma growing up watching loved ones die in front of them. Stuff like that changes people lives forever.

2. I don't think all the blame should go to the society. Just because a person has experienced horrible things in the past doesn't mean they should go out hurting people. A person knows right from wrong. Society plays a role in this because everyone is the same , u see somebody getting money by robbing makes you want to do it too. Our environment encourages the young ones to not be better than us but to be worse than us , which is awful.

1. No one is born naturally bad. People are taught to do or be bad. Upbringing can lead someone to commit crime. If they're growing up around violence or around a family or friend who commits crimes, then this can lead to that person do the same.
2. We should blame both the person and society. The person is the one who makes the decision at the end of the day. However, we should also blame society because sometimes, we paint this person as someone who's just evil but don't really know their motive for doing what they did. For example if someone stole food for their family because they are too poor. Also society can sometimes help that person before it's to late which is also why we should put some of the blame on them.

1. I don't genuinely believe that people can be born naturally bad. I believe the society and the examples that you are around can make you more susceptible to do the things that you see. For instance, if a young black boy is raised in a poor area surrounded by violence, theft, and gangs ; you would think that the boy would conform / adapt to the society he's around.
2.Now with that being said it doesn't necessarily mean that the boy can't choose to not follow the crowd but again if his closest friends or family practice those negative behaviors that could influence him to do the same. If you take the same scenario and flip the roles to that same boy growing up in a nicer area and with better examples, then the outcome may be different.
In conclusion I believe that the blame should be shared throughout the society and the person because regardless of if the society is bad, it is up to you to choose whether or not you follow.

1. Yes I believe that there are some people that are naturally bad. The environment that people live in can still make an impact on peoples lives. There are people out there that are just in the wrong crowd of their environment because that could be all that their use to or know.

2. We should blame the person just as much as we should blame society because at the end of the day it was still a choice that they took to do the crime. The society that we live in now crime has become "popular" to many so as a result the crime rates have gone up. Society can be an effect on people as well a bigger one than most.

I honestly feel like the upbringing of people and their environment does play a big role in how they act and could possibly lead them into committing a crime, and there's no such such thing as naturally bad because bad and good actions are learned and/or taught. For example, someone who's parent's neglected them or abused them physically and mentally may grow up to give out that same hatred. We should blame both society and the person because everyone should be accountable for all of their actions and society is great at pressuring people. Most of the time, the public has nothing but negative things to say anyways.

There is no such thing as "naturally bad'. Nobody is born a bad child. Their upbringing and environment usually decide how they end up. This is not always the case. After a person gets to a certain point they can reflect on what they've learned and DECIDE to change.

While society does play a big role in a persons character, it does not decide how a person chooses to be in the end. If the person is grown they are to blame for who they are. Although children and adolescents are still learning themselves and their environment may take more of the blame for who they are.

People arent necessarily born bad but i feel like its their upbringing. This is what makes the people commit crimes. Such as in this society today some people get or think that doing something productive is just not it or it wont get them anywhere.

We should blame society for like about i say a good 98.9 percent of the people that turn bad. I only say this because of the presidents that we had previously such as Trump. We shouldnt blame the person but we should in a way it makes sense but at the same time it doesnt because a human being has a mind of their own so nobody can control them.

1. I believe that no one is naturally bad I think it has more to do with the way they are brought up or the enviornment they are in. You can grow up in a good well mannered household but the neighborhood you live in isn't the best and you end up falling in with the wrong crowd. Then there are situations were in the household you grow up in isn't the best there can be alot of thing going on like parents can be abusive mentally and physically which caused some peole to react by commiting crimes .
2. I feel as if we should blame society and the person equally. To me 9 times out of 10 society plays a huge part in thing that people do . and then we're blaming the person for getting sucked in to societies mess .

1.Naturally people start off pure. It would be because an action in their upbringing that led them to do something bad. But normally it’s determined on how a person thinks and feel to cause them to do a good or bad action.
2. We should blame society just as much because on certain people it could affect their actions in society. But then again not all people are the same. Another side of people could react completely different in the same environment.

1.) I don’t believe people are naturally bad because growing up in life your mother teaches you right from wrong. I believe for a person to commit a crime they either are emotionally and mentally unstable. So it’s all about the effectiveness of the person choices growing up. If their mother kept letting them get away with bad things with no consequences that’s automatically how they think the world works because of their parents. Don’t get me wrong a person can still commit a crime and had a wonderful childhood. But it had to be some moment during their childhood where they were actually have anger hidden and finally let it out another person by murdering them or hanging with wrong people who led them to a crime.
2.) We should blame the community 50% and the person 50% because a person who has always lived in violence or always been around it would most likely grow up being violent. Not only that a person has full on action of their body you can’t murder anyone and expect the police to go easy like they do on TV. No your actions your consequences and growing up the person should have realized that.

I believe we should blame the society but instead of trying to enforce police in higher crime areas we need to try and better the community instead of having police arrest people taking away from the community. We need to build up our lower income community’s for the better.

1. People are a direct result of their material conditions. Crime exists as a byproduct of poor wealth distribution under capitalism, as well as the systemic forces the enforce the hierarchical status quo of wealth. Obviously, there are issues in someone who deems it necessary to carry out acts like murder, but we have a terrible way to go about handling these types of people, especially in America. This isn’t by coincidence either, it’s a direct result of pipelining and the prison industrial complex that makes us so reactionary when it comes to handling criminals. I believe the only way to fix people who stray from humanity (and we should be trying to fix them) is to treat them like humans. Obviously something went wrong, and it’s not their fault, only a product of their material conditions.
2. “Blame” feels too reactionary. If someone has a sickness, whether that be from trauma or their neurotype, you should be able to understand that these aren’t people with the entirety of their judgment in tact. The goal is not who to blame, the goal should be how it is we go about understanding and helping to understand the condition of that person, and assisting in reforming them to re-enter society. This sort of system would only work to full efficiency if a lot of other things in America were to change and move in a more left progressive direction.

I don't think a persons upbringing and environment brings them to commit crimes. The reason for this is because I feel if you want to make it out , a bad environment do good. People can not blame what goes around them to let that affect them. No, I do not believe people are naturally bad. when we are at are first early ages we don't know right from wrong. We have to be taught to be bad, in then you have to make a decision when of age if you want to continue down that path. We must blame society, they put us in the situations do these crimes. If you had kids to feed with no job, you are going to find a hustle not saying sale drugs but mainly. Although if you get incarcerated then released you will have a very hard time finding a stable job because of the label put on you. That is what society wants so that you can go commit more crimes to fill the jails longer repeated cycle. To stop this cycle, People have to take accountability if you did right in school some people won't be in the positions they are in know. Parents are the key factor in this they decide what there child goes through and how they should grow up.

TaNiyah bell

My opinion on this is that yes some people are naturally bad , because you can grow up Under a bad influence and think they was raised right their whole life’s and can’t tell them right from wrong . And we should blame society 0% and blame the person 100% because we make our own choices and decisions in our own life’s. No one will force you to do or say anything it’s all up to that person and what he or she thinks.

1. I don't believe that anyone is naturally bad. I do believe that a person's upbringing CAN brung them to commit crimes, but it doesn't necessarily HAVE to. If you have the will power to keep from doing bad things, you can do it.
2. I think we should split the blame 50/50 between society and the person. A person plays a large part in what they do because there is always a choice. Society also plays a large part. Things such as law turning blind eyes to crimes, or peer pressure could lead to people committing crimes.

The way people are brought up and the environment around them kind of makes that person a bad person. Parents can teach their children right from wrong. If they haven’t been taught right from wrong, they won’t know when they grow up and can be easily manipulated this way to commit crimes. Also the environment can cause criminals. If a child is being brought up in a crimes filled society, they will most likely follow the same path when they get older.
The way we should blame society and that person is depending on how much common sense that person has. There some people out there who have been manipulated and honestly don’t know what’s right from wrong. In other cases there are people who have been raised in good homes and good communities and they still commit crimes. These are the people who should get the most blame because they know what they did.

1. Parents raise their children to be better people than they were in life as well as strive to make the child a well rounded citizen, to grow up and be somebody rather than waste time and be a failure. The way a person carries their behavior is based upon their upbringing and their own self interest. However, many people grow up through trauma and abuse from their birth givers, therefore the child develops a different way of life and tends to think irrationally.
2. Society can receive 50% of the blame as it influences others to be like an average stereotype rather than be themselves. The media gives of an depiction of what the majority strives to be rather than what individuals aspire to be. Not everyone can rap, but they try to because social media and society shines a spotlight upon it. I guess no one understands that we need farmers, doctors, politicians, preachers, and many other occupations to be filled.
