Ideal Greek Beauty - Venus de Milo

Venus de Milo is one of the three most beautiful female statues in the Louvre museum, its name comes from the Melos island where it was found by accident, the story tells that a man was going to the runes to sting to get stone, when Suddenly he peaked on the floor and saw the head of a statue, then he kept digging until he could find all of it, and there it was but split in half, some French tourists who were nearby, they took it to France on a boat, and now it is found there in the museum, it was very difficult to identify her identity since she did not have any representative object of a god or goddess, but they named her as an aphrodite because of her half-naked body, the truth is that I love learning about Greek statues and I am also a fan of Greek culture and mythology so it was a good start, I think it is a very interesting story in how they found her and I think I agree that she is the goddess Aphrodite, she has those vibes, I would not know how to connect it with real life since it is something that happened a long time ago and it is something very unique, but I could buy it in the part that, when the man who found the statue made a deal to sell it with the French, then it may be that that people always want something in return.

The Nature of the Color

Colors are also extremely important things in our life, we are literally looking at them all the time. Colors are fundamental for animals too since some animals have their skin in bright colors, which helps them for different situations such as hiding or reflecting . The colors are not only to see them, also to feel them, each color has a meaning, but that depends on what the person gives, from my point of view I agree the colors also feel they also seem a state of mind, for example, the Yellow transmits happiness, but as for gray, it transmits sadness, I like to learn about colors, they are striking objects, my connection this time is based on design because every time we make a happy face, most of us paint it yellow, trying to transmit happiness.

I chose this work because it transmitted a bit of sadness to me, just by looking at the image, this work was created during the Second World War in 1944, it makes the meaning of when children and women were left alone and locked in the houses with their mother worried about what could happen to their husband in the war, and now this work was compared with what we are living now, about the fact that in the first quarantine the mothers who could not go to work and the children who could not go to work school, they all had to stay together there, and now the mother's concern having to divide her work and be with her children, I like the work because it transmits a very important message about the suffering of what those people went through, and I could connect her with my personal life since my mother also played it like that and sometimes she had to stop to go and help my sister.
