i feel that children nowadays missed out a lot of fun , but i do not agree that children don’t get enough time to play

Parents these days would still allow their child to go to the nearest playground to play , or buy them many toys to play by themselves. Even when kids go to kindergarten they get ample amount of play time and story time, because we would eventually grow up and all these play time are memories that will be with us forever, so adults are trying to let the kids enjoy their life before they grow up and face the real life , and where challenges await waiting for them. So then , children would have plenty of time to play. (YOU NEED TO INCLUDE YOUR OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE / EXAMPLE)

However, i agree  (pls dont use 'I' or else you'll sound like youre contradicting yourself) that children don’t get enough play time. Nowadays, parents would just hand over an ipad to the child or turn on the television and that would be the only source of entertainment for them. I would not consider that as play time as the child would just be watching youtube videos passively and their senses / motor skills are not activated. As compared to the earlier generations, the earlier generations definitely spent lesser time on technology at such a young age. (what is the link between technology and play here?; give clear links / explanations or else you're sound off topic)

The Covid-19 pandemic definitely impacted the idea of children not having enough play time in the present. Parents would prefer not to bring their children out to play at the playground in fear of the child catching the virus. However, recently the Covid-19 pandemic in Singapore has gotten a little better. With that said, parents are starting to allow their children to have play time at their neighborhood playgrounds.

PLEASE EXPAND YOUR TWO 'AGREE' POINTS PROPERLY

Firstly, because most of them are caught up on their gadgets. why? explain!  Parents these days are so busy and  tied down with work that they may too tired to  engage in playtime with their children. (Explain) Hence, they use gadgets such as,.. (example)

 Secondly, in todays society, we can barely see children at the playgrounds playing or doing any physical activity outdoors.  maybe it is because of the current situation of the covid-19 virus pandemic so , that parents are too afraid to let their children interact with other kids, so instead they provide them with online games to play individually without having physical contact. -->Isn't online games also a form of play?  THIS POINT IS INVALID

 However, some may argue that not every kid is playing enough because some parents are old school (huh? what are you trying to say???) and they prefer their kids to be physically active instead of having their screen online for many hours, they believe that playing outdoors benefits their kids in many ways, like keeping healthy and fit while making friends of their age. --> --> You've misunderstood the qn; it's about whether children get to play or not; you went off topic and thought it's about whether children get to be physically outdoors or not :( n my opinion i feel like, parents should start letting their kids play outdoors more as it is more beneficial as their are many facilities the government has built such as outdoor courts and playgrounds for easy access

I see a dragon shaped playground equipment. It has a larger head tiled with tiles. It also has a body made of colourfully-painted steel rings. I see little kids walking on the steel rings.
If i was at the playground, i would be thrilled to walk on the colourful steel rings and play with my friends.  You should describe the 5W1H of the video; where is this place? when is this taken? who are these kids? where are their parents? is this a rare sight? why? lack of elaboration :(

Firstly, children today are swamp with work schedule due to their parents. Their parents would enrolled them in a class or curriculum so that their children are able to cultivate a new skill. For example, a child will need to attend their tuition or violin practice after school time  which then leave them with a few hours of relaxation or even homework from school. Therefore, children today are given a few hours to themselves for personal relaxation. Secondly, children today are appointed an important role. As years flies by, the new generations are given different duties that they have to be done. For example, they are entrust with the responsibility of completing task handed by their parents or teachers. Thus, children are more focus in fulfilling their duties where playing would not be accessible to them as they are occupied. On the other hand, some may argue that children today are playing a bit too much as for their usage of technology. Due to the advancement of technology, the accessibility of games in a mobile device are simple as it would need a few clicks to start playing. For example, the app store which is an app for users to download new games to their mobile devices with just a few clicks and there's a game to be played. Plus, the addictive part of a mobile devices are that people would not realised with how much time is wasted on the usage of that technology. This may harm the children if they are not careful as it may cause them to have game addiction. Additionally, there are cases where children are having gaming addition due to too much time spent on their devices. Thus, children today are given ample of time to play. However, nowadays, Covid-19 have left children today to spent less time in playing out with their friends as to keep themselves safe indoor. Therefore, I agree with the statement.
