All of us were introduced with the contents of the subjects. It was an unfamiliar subject to me since I took chemistry, while design thinking was under FBE, I had no idea what was it about. It was a fun experienced to be able to learn such new things through SHE courses.

Although it such a different course from what I took, but Dr Raha gave such a well explanation regarding to the topics with the assistance of her slides. I was able to cope up with new things through her explanation and the slides given. Her slides were easy to be understood although it was my first time learning. She also briefed us about the assignments that should be done and submitted through out the upcoming weeks. On 29th of March, my team members and I held a meeting thorugh teams regarding to the project that possibly did by us. There were few things that we suggested, but we came up with movable laundry basket. The reason was because we want to help the others to reduce their burden as well as considering the materials that will be used and all of us were staying at college, it was impossible to find most of the materials and even if we found it, it might be costly for students to buy. 

We also decided who will be the one who did the video for every stages. Since we have 5 stages, it will be unequal division, yet we agreed on the last video will be done 2 person and last video for presentation will be done by two persons. Then, we have equal division of works.

In this week, we were supposedly waiting for the survey analysis to know in details regarding to our project. We had 37 responses which not representing the whole students yet I’m sure it was pretty convincing to represents students’ needs. 

While the responses sufficient, the submission was done on 19 April 2023.

All of us decided to pour out ideas through Google docs to make it more easier for those who’s doing the video. Each of us can refer to the important things that might be missed out during TEAMS. Thus, Diyana and Anisha brainstormed the ideas of that might be done since they were in charged for video 3. 

In this session, we were doing on general designs and materials that might be used for the prototype since there were many possible designs can be done. 

For the materials, we were focusing on the materials that were generally used only such as wheels, waterproof cover and etc. In my opinion, it was such a good idea to consider all the materials since we can plan all the budgets and the possible design that can be done.

My teammates were very helpful and supportive in giving ideas and finding the materials that we will used. Diyana and Anisha bought some of the materials while me bought another things. We went to buy the materials at MR DIY and IKEA. Some of the materials cannot be found, thus we had to rush to a hardware store. 

After buying all those materials, we decided to meet at 12th Residential college to make our protoype. We decided on doing our (design) because it was much convenience for students. In my opinion, having movable laundry basket with perfume attached and space to put on the detergents such a dream comes true, since it will makes my life even more easier. Even myself wants to be more leisure in doing weekly activities. I don’t have to burden myself while doing laundry anymore.

The submission for stage: Prototype done in week 10 which was on 24 May 2023.

The recored final presentation was done by us. We recorded ourselves and explaining each of the stages done by us. In my opinion, each of us had explained well about what has been done by using from stage 1 to the last stage (stage 5). We focused on what’s feedback that we got during the project making. 

It was a great experience for me, since I had helpful and productive teammates. They made it more easier and faster to done all the stages especially the protoype. It’s not only teammates yet the class representative also very helpful to ask Dr Raha regarding to our inquiries about this course. Overall, it was an amazing experience to be able to be part of this course.
