The appeasment in Europe was created to prevent a war between Europe and Germany. Most European governments felt that they were not prepared militarily for a war against Germany. Hitler persuaded them to sign the document by threatening Czechoslovakia. France and Great Britain gave in and signed the Munich agreement. Even thought Hitler promised a bright future he ended up dismanteling the Czechoslovakia state in 1993. Adding on to this Hitler backed out of the non-agression pact with Poland and went on to sign a non-agression pact with the Soviet Union. The pact included that Germany would be able to acttack Poland without the prevension of the Soviet Union
