         <description><![CDATA[<div>The following is an ad that the Donald Trump campaign ran while he was in pursuit of the republican nomination. Westen argues that all decisions have an emotional component. In our reader, Westen states that, “The political brain is an emotional brain.” We discussed in class the idea that there is a step process in a voter’s cognition when they make a decision that goes from emotion to distinction to reason and back to emotion. I believe this ad to be a strong example of something that contours to this arch of this concept and tries to hone in on voter’s emotions. Especially those who are scared for their safety and have bought into the fear mongering the Trump campaign has been hammering home since day one.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ooCCMMXR4M</div>]]></description>
