Given the momentary break from our usual consumer indulgences, has anyone else been reflecting on what we need to feel happy in our lives?

Our weekly reflection series is about taking a reflective journey, together with you, on some of the challenging questions we face in creating a sustainable society. It’s about engaging in conversation, sharing ideas and co-creating new narratives for the future.

Less is more. Simple but smart. What is the basics to make me happy? It becomes visible in this crisis - which is a chance to move to the next level of happiness and personal/collective resilience. To me, it is freedom to roam - to move out in nature/to nature, as much and as long as I like. It is health and being able to move freely. It is no sorrows to come close to a person I care for, physically. Coming close mentally is essential, too. It is healthy food, plant-based, regional, seasonal, organic, raw, real. It is friends, family, partners, someone to care for, and someone who cares for me. It is no financial sorrows, but same time not wasting time with hasting for more. It is having dreams and passions, and following such passions, some dreams, but not all dreams.
