It is the world's largest floating stage. It is 120 meters long and 83 meters wide, and consists of 15 steel pontoons. It can hold a weight of 9,000 people, 200 tons of stage props, and three 30-ton military vehicles.

The floating platform was completed in 2007 and was originally only intended to be used until 2012. However, it was later retained. It has hosted a number of major events, including the Singapore National Day Parade, the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix, and the Youth Olympic Games.

In 2017, the Singapore government announced that the floating platform would be redeveloped into NS Square. NS Square will be a combined community and lifestyle space that will feature an outdoor performance venue, water and land sports facilities, and a museum dedicated to National Service. The floating platform was decommissioned in March 2023 and NS Square is expected to be completed in 2026.

Reference:

Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Float_@_Marina_Bay

再見 濱海灣浮動舞臺 (zaobao.com)

Through the pressurized fan, the air pressure inside the Tokyo Dome is about 0.3% higher than the outside, so it can support the roof film. This pressure difference is equivalent to the pressure difference between the first and ninth floors, so the human body will hardly feel anything. In addition, in order to prevent air loss in the Tokyo Dome as much as possible, revolving doors are used at the entrance and exit.

Reference:

•
