         <description><![CDATA[<div>Here’s where it began. I was nearing up on 14 years old, and I was, as most 14 year olds do, crying. I don’t remember what I was crying about, it could have been a boy, my body image, my sexuality, my family, quite literally anything…but I was crying. Then, as it often did for as long as I can remember, that crying morphed into sobbing, then dry heaving, then hyperventilating, and soon I was on the bathroom floor unable to breathe. In the midst of this episode, I recalled something that I had seen once on my Instagram feed- cutting. Everyone online said it was an easy way to calm down. So, I took off my pants, grabbed my hot pink Venus razor from the shower, and dragged it down my thigh in three, vertical lines. Suddenly, the world went quiet, and I could breathe again.</div><div>	No, I am not telling you this to trigger or upset you.
